How to get started
Exploring a new product can be overwhelmed, so we want to give you a basic overview of ChativeIO to get you started.
There are three main interfaces you'll interact with when using the product:
- Agent is the most basic role in the ChativeIO system. This role can access basic features to support customers. ChativeIO offers four different roles, which are permitted to access different features and functionalities.
- Channels are the best way to keep conversations in various projects, topics, or teams and there’s no limit to the number of channels you can have in one organization.
- Contacts are the customers who have interacted on the business chat window. There are three types of contacts in our system, which you can read more here to know how we categorize them and how they work.

Set up your organization
When creating a new account, you will have your own organization. The organization is the heart of ChativeIO. It's a place where you and your team can work together. Each organization includes its own team and channels so you can join as many organizations as you like. You are able to set up your organization to co-manage it with your team.
Customize your website live chat
In your organization, you can customize your live chat and install it into your platforms like website, Facebook page, etc. and you can also learn how to track your team performance and your lead generation.
