Release 2.3.1: WhatsApp Image & Video Captions Now Supported

This update focuses on polishing your experience from smoother mobile performance and smarter search to better billing clarity and cleaner conversations. We’ve also fixed key bugs reported by users and added a few helpful improvements based directly on your feedback.

🚀 Improvements

WhatsApp Image Captions Now Supported

Based on user feedback, we’ve improved how WhatsApp messages appear in Chative. When a customer sends an image or video with a caption, you’ll now see both the media and its caption together, so conversations stay clear and complete.

Pay Overdue Invoices In One Click

No more digging through settings. If an invoice shows Retry or Failed, just tap Pay right beside it and clear your balance instantly.

Search is now smarter, surfacing more relevant results much faster so you find what you need right away.

🐞 Bug fixes

AI Agent

  • Now when you buy the AI Agent with a usage plan, you’ll receive just one invoice that shows everything clearly.
  • All Copilot and AI Agent plans now display clear pricing upfront, so you can review and decide with confidence before activating.

Mobile App

  • You can now reset your password from the mobile app without hitting broken links or errors. The reset flow opens correctly in your browser.
  • All users can now sign in to the mobile app using Google without errors. The process is quick, smooth, and secure just the way it should be.
  • Some users had trouble opening conversation links on mobile, either landing on the wrong chat or getting stuck on a loading screen. That’s now fixed. The app will take you straight to the correct conversation, just like on desktop.
  • If a conversation is past the 24-hour reply window, you’ll now see a clear message in the chat view explaining why you can’t respond.

Channels

  • We’ve resolved an issue where agents sometimes saw empty duplicate messages from Facebook or Instagram. The conversation view is now clean, with only the actual messages displayed, making replies smoother and less confusing.

Customer

  • Previously, when an agent messaged first, the visitor’s profile didn’t update even after they replied with their name and email. That’s now fixed. Chative will automatically update the profile and mark them as a lead.
  • Chative now auto-fills the country field when a valid city or town is available. This ensures more complete location data for better segmentation and personalization.

Permission

  • Admins without billing permissions can no longer access or interact with billing settings.
  • When you update someone’s admin permissions, the system now shows a success messag so you know your changes were applied.
  • We’ve fixed an issue where organization admins or owners were blocked from accessing the Workflow or Member Management pages. You’ll now have full access as expected.

Other Bugs

  • Previously, when copying a message with multiple lines, the formatting was lost upon pasting. That’s now fixed – your copied messages will keep their structure.
  • We’ve improved the logic behind message search. You’ll now see only the messages that match your search, no more missing results or unrelated matches, even in closed conversations.
  • The Add-ons search now shows only the add-ons relevant to your selected category, helping you find what you need faster and without distractions.
  • Webhook deletion now works as expected. If it fails, the app tells you why.
  • If you open a link to an invalid or deleted organization, the app now redirects you to the homepage instead of leaving you stuck on a loading screen.
