WhatsApp Business Add-On On Chative
WhatsApp Business is a paid add-on that allows you to connect with customers through one of the most popular messaging platforms. This guide provides the latest information on pricing, usage model, and instructions for managing your WhatsApp integration on Chative.
1. Add-On Pricing
Base price: 19 USD per month (includes 1 phone number)
Each additional phone number: 19 USD per month
This cost is separate from your Chative subscription and will appear on your monthly invoice. You can manage phone numbers in Settings
> Channels
> WhatsApp

2. Per-Message Pricing Model
Starting July 1, 2025, WhatsApp applies a per-message pricing model instead of charging per conversation. Charges vary based on the message category and timing.
Message categories and when charges apply:

Service | Replies to customer-initiated messages within 24 hours | Free |
Utility | Transaction alerts or updates beyond the 24-hour window | Charged if sent outside the 24-hour window |
Authentication | One-time passwords for login or verification | Charged per message |
Marketing | Promotions, re-engagement messages, or campaigns | Charged per message |

3. Customer Service Window
This is a 24-hour period starting from the moment a customer sends you a message. During this window, you can respond with any message type without being charged. After 24 hours, responses require a message template and may incur charges.
4. Free Monthly Service Messages
Starting November 1, 2024, WhatsApp offers unlimited free service messages per month.
This applies to all connected phone numbers.
Only service messages sent within the 24-hour window are eligible.
Other message types are not included.

Currently, Chative does not offer a dedicated WhatsApp analytics dashboard. To track usage:
