Billing information

At Chative.IO, you can upgrade your plan anytime. Your invoice will be adjusted based on the percentage of time you used the plan during the current billing cycle.

Examples

Upgrading Plan Example

Suppose you’re on the TEAM plan for 3 users. After 10 days, you upgrade to the BUSINESS plan for 3 users. Here’s how the cost breaks down:

On the 10th day of the billing cycle, you upgrade to the BUSINESS plan. The final amount you owe will be the cost of the BUSINESS plan for 20 days, minus the cost of the TEAM plan for the remaining 20 days of the billing cycle.

For example, you’ve already paid $30 for the TEAM plan.

At the time of upgrade:

  • You have 20 days remaining on the TEAM plan, which costs $20.
  • You owe $75 x (20/30) = $50 for the BUSINESS plan.

So, the final amount you need to pay is $30.

Downgrading Plan Example

If you’re on the BUSINESS plan for 3 users and you downgrade to the TEAM plan after 10 days, you won’t get a refund for the paid solution.

This also applies if you downgrade to the STARTER plan.

Adding Users to TEAM Plan

If you’re on the TEAM plan and want to add more users after 10 days, you will be charged $10 for each new user.

Adding Users to BUSINESS Plan

If you’re on the BUSINESS plan and want to add more users after 10 days, you will be charged $25 for each new user.

Billing FAQs

Adding members

If you add new members to your organization, you will be charged immediately for the new users, but this won’t change the billing cycle for the entire organization.

Removing members

If you remove a member, their spot remains vacant. If you have an open spot, you can add a new member without any additional charges.

Paying for specific members

You cannot pay for only some members of your organization. All members in a plan have access to the same features.

Receiving an invoice

An invoice will be attached to the email sent to the organization’s owner after a successful payment.
