How to manage more customer information in Chative

Custom Information is the data you want to know about your customers beyond the Basic Information we've already set up for you.

This information can be manually added by your team during a conversation or automatically updated through an API.

To create Custom Information fields, follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to Settings > Customers > Custom Fields > Click the + Create Custom Field button.

Step 2: Enter the Field Name and choose the type of data to store in this field from the following options:

  • Text: The value is a text string.
  • Number: The value is a numeric figure.
  • Date: The value is a date.
  • Yes/No: The value is either Yes or No.

Step 3: Click the Create button to save.
