Files & media sharing capabilities

In the Chative.IO Inbox, you can share a wide range of file types with your customers, even overcoming certain limitations found in native messaging platforms. For instance, Chative.IO enables you to send file attachments that might not be possible on platforms like Instagram.

This document will walk you through how file attachment sharing works and highlight its limitations.

How it works

There are four types of files that you can use during the conversation with your customers in the Inbox, which is: image, audio, video, and file.

You can find this option by going to Setting > Conversations > Inbox. This setting only applies to agents, not customers.
