Efficient Task Assignment and Management for Your Team

Understanding the different roles and specific permissions is essential for managing access and ensuring smooth coordination among team members.

Different roles and permissions

In Chative.IO, there are three main roles: Owner, Admin, and Agent. Each role comes with distinct responsibilities and permissions, enabling you to tailor access levels based on the needs of your team.

Owner

Owner is the one who created the organization. Each organization can only have one owner, which can not be changed.

As an owner, you will have full control over the platform. You can add your team members, assign specific roles, and suspend them when needed. You can manage billing, create channels & configure settings, and have access to all features and functionalities available in your current plan.

Admin

Admin has the same access and permissions as the owner, allowing them to invite, change roles, remove members, configure settings, and access all features available.

The difference between admin and owner is that an organization can have multiple admins, and the owner can modify admins as needed.

Agent

Agents are the members who interact with customers and handle conversations. As an agent, you have access to relevant features such as chat management, knowledge base, and workflow, as determined by the owner or admin.

In the Setting section, agents have access to Account, Customers, and Translation settings. Agents do not have access to certain settings such as Organization, Members, Channels, Conversations, Billing, and For developer settings.

Member status

When you invite teammates to join your organization, they can have one of the following statuses:

  • Invited: This status indicates that your teammate hasn't created an account yet. We sent them an email invitation to join your organization. You can resend or revoke the invitation by clicking on the icon.
  • Active: This status indicates that your teammate already has an active account in your organization. You can view their assigned conversations, performance, change their role, or suspend them by selecting the icon.
  • Suspended: This status indicates that the member has been suspended and no longer has access to your organization. By selecting the icon, you can change their role or reactivate their account.
